Roanoke Regional Airport US Airways, United Airlines, Delta, and Allegiant
The Smart Way Bus and Roanoke Airport Transportation Service provide transportation from the airport to campus.
Private planes may also be able to use the Virginia Tech/Montgomery Executive Airport.
Rail Access
Lynchburg (Crescent and Northeast Regional lines), Clifton Forge (Cardinal line), and White Sulphur Springs (Cardinal Line). The Smart Way Connector bus provides transportation from Lynchburg to Roanoke.
Bus
Greyhound Bus Lines serves Roanoke, and their Campbell Square terminal is also a destination for the Smart Way Bus. Several private bus lines also schedule buses for Virginia Tech games.
